What Mourinho will decide after the international break

The Portuguese coach faces a major decision. Vinicius remains one of Real Madrid's biggest stars, with a status built over years of performances and trophies. But that status no longer appears enough to guarantee his place. Diomande has arrived to compete and, so far, he is doing everything required to succeed.

The Ivorian feels especially comfortable starting from the left, precisely the territory occupied by Madrid's number 7. The most expensive signing in the club's history is now knocking on the door of one of the squad's most established players. Madrid's two defeats this season add even more pressure to an already tense situation.
