Bayern Munich moved to the top of the Bundesliga standings with a commanding 6-1 victory over RB Leipzig. Luis Diaz stole the show with a brilliant hat-trick, while Harry Kane marked his 100th league appearance in Germany with a goal. The Bavarian giants produced a relentless attacking performance that left their visitors with no response.

• Luis Diaz scored three of Bayern Munich's six goals in the 6-1 win over RB Leipzig.
• Harry Kane found the net in his 100th Bundesliga appearance.
• The result puts Bayern Munich at the top of the German league table.
• RB Leipzig suffered a heavy defeat that stalls their push up the standings.

Luis Diaz delivers a hat-trick masterclass against Leipzig

The Colombian winger was the standout performer of the night. His pace and movement caused constant problems for the Leipzig defense, which had no answer for his runs and his ability to arrive late in the box. Diaz found the net three times in a display that underlines his importance to Bayern's attacking structure.

The hat-trick adds to an impressive campaign for the forward, who has helped Bayern build one of the most feared attacks in Europe. His link-up play and understanding of space were on full display throughout the match, turning nearly every attacking move into a genuine scoring chance.

Harry Kane celebrates 100 Bundesliga games with a goal

Harry Kane reached a landmark moment in his German career and celebrated it in the best possible way. The England striker made his 100th Bundesliga appearance and once again showed why he is among the most reliable finishers in world football. His goal extended a remarkable personal record that continues to grow at an extraordinary rate.

Since joining Bayern, Kane has made scoring look routine. The forward has shattered records and remains in contention to finish as the league's top scorer. On a special night for him, there was no way he was going to miss his appointment with the back of the net.

Bayern Munich rise to the top of the Bundesliga

The victory carries extra weight for Vincent Kompany's side. Beyond the impressive scoreline, the three points lift Bayern to first place and send a clear message to the rest of the title contenders. They punished a Leipzig team that arrived hoping to make a statement and left with a heavy defeat.

Bayern delivered a devastating performance from the opening minutes. High pressing, quick transitions and clinical finishing made the difference. Every attack seemed dangerous, and the scoreline reflected a superiority that was never in doubt.

A defeat that leaves RB Leipzig reeling

RB Leipzig endured an afternoon to forget in Munich. The away side struggled to contain an inspired Bayern and suffered one of their most painful defeats of the season. Their consolation goal did little to disguise a performance well below the standard required to compete with the league's elite.

Defensive frailties were exposed from the start, and the midfield failed to impose any control. By the time Leipzig attempted to react, the contest was already over. The result is a major setback in their efforts to close the gap on the top of the table.

What this result means for Bayern's title push

Moving to the top is a significant achievement for a Bayern side that has faced a more competitive Bundesliga than expected this season. The emphatic win boosts confidence within the squad and proves that their attacking potential can resolve almost any scenario. Goal difference also works in their favor if points end level.

The challenge now is to maintain consistency in the coming weeks. The schedule offers no room for complacency, and any slip could hand momentum back to their rivals. With Kane in fine form and Diaz in outstanding touch, Bayern have plenty of firepower to defend their position at the summit.
