Why Rayo cannot play at the Vallecas stadium

Season-ticket holders can collect their free ticket of a similar category by showing their season pass at the Vallecas stadium ticket offices. The opening hours are Thursday 3 September from 17:00 to 22:00 and Friday 4 September from 10:00 to 22:00. On police advice, no tickets can be handed out or sold on Saturday at the stadium because the match has been declared high risk.

Tickets for general admission

Non member fans can buy tickets at a price of 45 euros on Thursday 3 September from 17:00 to 22:00 and on Friday 4 September from 10:00 to 22:00. Rayo remind supporters that both the season pass and the match ticket must be presented to enter the stadium. Junior season passes must collect a ticket in order to access the ground. Collection is organized according to the location of the season pass: Preferencia at the ticket offices on Arroyo del Olivar street, and Lateral, Fondo and Disabled Zone at the ticket offices on Avenida de la Albufera.

Rayo have not ruled out asking for a postponement

The Rayo Vallecano legal department will try until the last moment to get the match postponed in order to protect the club and the integrity of the competition. The entity believes that playing at Butarque amounts to a distortion of the competition and says it will use every available resource to defend its interests and those of its fans against what it describes as an unjustified attack on a centenary institution.
