Spotify Camp Nou: Barcelona's fortress of 18 straight wins ahead of Real Madrid clash

FC Barcelona have found far more than a renovated stadium at the Spotify Camp Nou: they have built a genuine fortress. Since Hansi Flick's team returned to their iconic home on 22 November 2025 with a 4-0 thrashing of Athletic Club, the Catalans have produced an almost flawless run as hosts in La Liga. This Sunday, Real Madrid visit that cauldron with the league lead and pride on the line.

• Barcelona have recorded 18 consecutive La Liga victories at the Spotify Camp Nou since its reopening.
• The Catalans have scored 58 goals and conceded just 11 at home, keeping 10 clean sheets.
• Real Madrid were beaten 2-0 at the Camp Nou last May.
• Across all competitions, Barça have won 23 of their 24 official matches at the stadium.
• El Clasico kicks off on Sunday at 9:00 PM local time, with Barça six points clear at the top.

An 18-game winning run that intimidates any opponent

The latest 3-0 victory over Getafe extended a statistic that scares anyone. Since that opening match against Athletic Club, Flick's men have not dropped a single point at home in the domestic league. Culés fans have become used to leaving the stadium with three points in their pocket, something that was far less frequent during the early months of exile at Montjuïc.

The fortress in numbers: 58 goals scored and only 11 conceded

Barcelona's attacking numbers at home are almost outrageous. Averaging more than three goals per game, the team has punished visitors with a ruthlessness few European venues can match. But their strength is not just offensive: ten clean sheets confirm the Spotify Camp Nou has also become a wall. Only eleven goals have been conceded by the Catalans in front of their own supporters all season.

The only blemish came in Europe: Atlético Madrid broke the spell

When looking at all competitions, the dominance is still impressive. FC Barcelona have won 23 of their 24 official matches at the Estadi since returning. The only defeat came in the Champions League, in last season's quarter-final first leg, when Atlético de Madrid stormed the stadium with a 0-2 result. In Europe, however, the overall record remains very strong with four wins in five home games.

El Clasico, a litmus test for the league leaders

Real Madrid arrive in Barcelona with the mission of ending a run that Barça defend tooth and nail. Flick's side sit top of the standings with a six-point cushion over Los Blancos, and a win in El Clasico could leave the title race firmly under control. In May, the Catalans already beat their eternal rivals 2-0 on this very ground, a precedent that fuels the home side's confidence.

The warning is clear. The Spotify Camp Nou has become hostile territory for anyone, and Real Madrid are no exception when it comes to predictions. With the crowd fully behind the team and a side in top gear, Barça want to extend their perfect home record and land a significant blow in the title fight.
