Valencia have finally put a price on every corner of their future home. The club presented details of the move to the Nou Mestalla on Wednesday, revealing that season tickets for the new stadium, set to open in the summer of 2027, will range from €300 for the cheapest seat in the upper tier to €1,700 for the most expensive spots closest to the pitch and most centrally located.

  • The cheapest Nou Mestalla season ticket will cost €300 and will be located in the upper tier.
  • The most expensive season ticket will reach €1,700, in the lower and central areas next to the pitch.
  • The weighted average price will be 10.25% lower than at the current Mestalla.
  • More than 20% of season tickets will cost under €450, while 40% will be below €500.
  • Around 7,000 current season ticket holders near the main stand will face a considerable price increase.

How prices are distributed across the new stadium

Valencia have applied a straightforward pricing formula: the closer to the pitch and the more central the seat, the higher the price. In contrast, the highest seats and those located on the sides behind the goals will offer the most affordable options.

The club has detailed that more than 20% of season tickets will cost under €450, while 40% will remain below €500. Another notable figure is that the stadium will have as many seats priced under €850 as Mestalla currently holds in total: 45,804. In the third ring, which covers the upper grandstand and top tier, the average price will be €430.

The announced figures refer to the undiscounted price and will follow the same criteria applied this season at Mestalla. According to the club's calculations, the weighted average price of the new venue will actually be 10.25% lower than at the current stadium, largely due to the high number of seats included in the cheapest zones.

The season ticket holders facing a price rise at the Nou Mestalla

Although the overall picture points to a reduction, the change will not affect everyone equally. Valencia estimate that roughly 20% of their season ticket holders, around 7,000 people, will see a significant increase. They are the fans currently sitting in the area opposite the main stand, a location that will have a different status in the new stadium and therefore a higher price.

How season ticket holders will move to the new ground

Valencia also explained the procedure for relocating their season ticket holders to the Nou Mestalla. The process will be divided into three phases: creating groups, selecting seats, and formalising and paying for the season ticket. The first phase will allow family members, friends or members of the same supporters' club to request seats close together. To determine the order of choice, the club will calculate the average seniority of all group members.

Once the group is formed, one of its members will act as 'captain' and represent the group during the in-person selection. The second phase will take place in the Sala 1923 at Mestalla, where season ticket holders will be able to physically choose their seats. General director Javier Solís argued that personalised attention was "absolutely necessary" to handle a selection process of this magnitude. The venue will feature several tables and different time slots to attend to fans simultaneously, with a flow the club hopes to keep "constant".

For those unable to attend in person, there will be alternatives: the process can be completed online, through an authorised third party, or by requesting a different time slot. Marketing director Jorge García and fan and data area director Franco Segarra also took part in the presentation alongside Solís.

Thousands of Nou Mestalla seats will not be available as season tickets

One of the new stadium's features is that around 7,000 seats will not be included in the season ticket campaign. García and Segarra explained that these seats will be reserved for various uses linked to UEFA, sponsorship agreements and other entities. The away end is among these areas, along with sectors spread across the different tiers of the Nou Mestalla.

As a result, although the new stadium will have a total capacity of 70,044 spectators, not all of its seats will be available within the season ticket campaign. Valencia are now entering the final major steps of a move that will begin to take shape for their supporters long before the venue officially opens its doors in the summer of 2027.
